You got the wrong turbo, you should have got the more efficient electric turbo.

Makes sense. My crown vic had an aftermarket head unit in it when I got it, and the volume knob didn’t work (the encoder was bad, so spinning it would randomly A) Turn it up B) Turn it down or C) Do nothing... usually C) so I got another aftermarket one with a USB port I can charge it and play music through. It works.
